Shangri-La Bengaluru has appointed Nikhil Kotha as Director of Sales, strengthening its commercial leadership as competition intensifies across the hospitality sector. With over 12 years of experience in hospitality sales, Kotha joins the leadership team with a background in revenue generation, partnership development, and team management across competitive markets.

In this role, he will lead the hotel’s sales function, with a focus on improving market share, driving commercial outcomes, and identifying new revenue opportunities across key demand segments.

Kotha’s career includes roles at Marriott International and Hyatt Hotels Corporation, along with experience in the luxury real estate sector at Lodha Group. His cross-sector exposure has provided him with insights into both hospitality and lifestyle-driven sales models. His experience spans Rooms, Catering, Corporate, and MICE segments, with a focus on planning, budgeting, and expansion strategies.

Prior to this appointment, Kotha was responsible for sales strategy and revenue performance at a luxury golf resort, where he contributed to sustained growth and improved market positioning. His track record includes securing high-value business and maintaining long-term client relationships.
