Sarovar Hotels opens Vandhara Sarovar Premiere in Patkote, Jim Corbett, a refined nature-led retreat near Jim Corbett National Park, marking the brand’s entry into one of North India’s most evocative leisure destinations. The newly opened hotel features 73 villas, rooms and suites, positioning it as a strong draw for luxury leisure travellers, destination weddings and tranquil getaways.
Each accommodation includes a private balcony with garden- or mountain-facing views. With a portfolio of over 150 hotels across India, Nepal and Africa, the launch aligns with Sarovar Hotels’ broader expansion strategy, which includes nearly 80 hotels in its development pipeline as the brand continues to scale across leisure, business and regional markets.
Located in Patkote, an emerging premium hospitality corridor away from Corbett’s crowded circuits, the property offers a quieter and more exclusive stay amid dense forests, open skies and views of the lower Himalayas. Its location provides easy access to Sitabani Temple, core safari zones, birding trails, forest walks, village experiences and hiking routes, allowing guests to explore both the natural and cultural landscape of the region.
The hotel’s architecture and interiors are designed to blend contemporary luxury with nature-focused aesthetics, featuring warm materials, spacious layouts and uninterrupted views. The property caters to couples and honeymooners seeking romantic escapes, as well as families looking for immersive, nature-led experiences.
Positioned as a destination for weddings and MICE, the hotel houses two indoor banquet halls measuring 3,200 sq. ft. and 1,500 sq. ft., along with a 5,000 sq. ft. Nakshatra Lawn for open-air events. The property offers professional event planning, themed décor and customised menus. Dining options include Brahmkamal, an all-day restaurant serving regional and global cuisine, and Somras, an intimate lounge bar featuring signature beverages.
Commenting on the launch, Ajay K. Bakaya, Chairman, Sarovar Hotels & Director, Louvre Hotels India, said that the Corbett belt continues to evolve as a high-value leisure and celebrations hub. He added that Vandhara Sarovar Premiere is designed to address this demand through elevated accommodation, expansive event infrastructure and experiences that allow travellers to connect deeply with the forests, culture and spirit of Uttarakhand.
The launch of Vandhara Sarovar Premiere further strengthens Sarovar’s existing Uttarakhand portfolio, which includes ABN Sarovar Portico in Jim Corbett, Madhuban Sarovar Portico in Mussoorie, Seyfert Sarovar Premiere in Dehradun, Ambrosia Sarovar Portico and MJ Sarovar Portico in Haridwar, and Sarovar Portico in Badrinath.
