Restaurant India News: PHURR Opens Second Bengaluru Outlet in Indiranagar

Vegetarian dining brand PHURR – Elevated Vegetarian Cuisine has opened its second Bengaluru outlet in Indiranagar, following the sustained performance of its Jayanagar location. The expansion marks a strategic move for the brand, which has consistently reported full-capacity operations at its original outlet and built a strong consumer base through repeat footfall and word-of-mouth traction.

The Indiranagar outlet continues PHURR’s design-forward approach, featuring a visually expressive layout aligned with the brand’s established identity. The space has been developed to support experiential dining while maintaining operational comfort, positioning the restaurant within Indiranagar’s competitive premium casual dining segment.

PHURR’s menu remains focused on vegetarian offerings positioned as indulgent yet familiar. Signature dishes from the Jayanagar outlet, including Tender Coconut Fritters, Andhra Chilli Broccoli with Pesto Hummus, Vegetable Kofta with Banarasi Pukhtan Curry, Bhindi 2 Way, and Phurrrrr (Lucknow Malaiyo), continue at the new location. The Indiranagar outlet also introduces Finger Millet Nihari, a new addition that expands the brand’s regional and ingredient-led approach. The brand attributes its ability to maintain 100 percent occupancy throughout the week to consistent kitchen processes, staff training, and menu execution.

The beverage programme remains alcohol-free, with a mocktail-focused bar offering signature drinks such as Humming Berry, Penguin Potion, Citrus Hermit, and Jack Sparrow 2.0. The menu also includes cold-pressed juices, dessert-inspired beverages, tropical blends, and botanical mixes, supporting the brand’s positioning as a social dining destination without alcohol dependency.

PHURR’s growth from Jayanagar to Indiranagar has been driven by targeted branding, digital content visibility, and collaborations, alongside a strong visual identity centred around its bird motif. The Indiranagar launch represents the next phase of the brand’s planned PAN-India expansion, reinforcing its view that premium vegetarian dining is a scalable and commercially viable category within India’s urban foodservice market.
