
Sofitel Mumbai BKC has announced the appointment of Neha Chhabra as its new General Manager. With more than 20 years of experience in luxury and business hospitality, Neha brings extensive operational expertise and a strong focus on guest experience, aligning closely with Sofitel’s commitment to refined service and its French Art de Vivre philosophy.
Neha has held senior leadership positions across several leading hospitality brands. Before joining Sofitel, she served as General Manager at JW Marriott Goa, where she positioned the property as a top luxury destination in North Goa. During her tenure, the hotel received over 27 industry recognitions, including honors from Travel + Leisure India, Condé Nast Traveler, and the HICSA Hotel of the Year 2024.
Her previous role as General Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal saw her lead the team through the pandemic, ensuring consistent operational performance and profitability. Earlier, she held key leadership positions at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, The Trident Bandra Kurla, and The Oberoi New Delhi, strengthening her credentials in luxury hospitality management and service excellence.
Throughout her career, Neha has earned numerous awards, including Goa’s Best General Manager 2024 (CMO Asia), Leadership Excellence 2022 (APEC GM Awards), and Diamond General Manager of the Year 2021–22 (Global, Courtyard Brand). She has also been recognized among the Most Fabulous Women Leaders in Hospitality and as Hotel Manager of the Year 2019 by BW Hotelier and Stelliers South Asia.
