This festive season, Mokai and Indu Ice Cream have joined forces to introduce a limited-edition dessert menu that blends nostalgia with inventive flavors. The collaboration focuses on reimagining traditional comfort through modern, unexpected combinations designed to capture consumer interest during the peak festive period.
The menu features four signature creations, each offering a unique take on familiar flavors.
Strawberry Slurp Matcha Sago Float layers strawberry purée and ice cream with jelly, sago pearls, condensed milk, and ceremonial matcha, creating a pastel-toned dessert that bridges summer nostalgia with a Japanese influence.
Kesar Pista Kulfi Matcha elevates the classic kulfi cart experience, combining crushed pista kulfi, saffron strands, pistachio paste, raw honey, and A2 milk, finished with a touch of matcha for added umami.
Cold Kaapi French Toast with House Miso Caramel & Hazelnuts takes indulgence a step further, pairing thick-cut Hokkaido milk bread and Indu’s kaapi ice cream with miso caramel and hazelnut crunch for a layered texture experience.
Cold Brew Affogato offers a more stripped-back option, combining kaapi ice cream with cold brew for a bittersweet finish.
“This collaboration is about desserts refusing to sit quietly at the end of a meal,” says Karreena Bulchandani, Founder, Mokai. “At Mokai, we’ve always believed in creating playful desserts that tell a story. With Indu, we found the perfect partner to celebrate nostalgia while adding a festive twist.”
Saloni Kukreja, Founder, Indu Ice Cream, adds, “Indu has always been an ode to Indian ice cream, but one that isn’t afraid to surprise. Every scoop begins with memory, then we push it further, bolder, sharper, more alive. With Mokai, that spirit clicked instantly. Together, we’ve built a menu that feels like a celebration you’ve always known, with a little surprise waiting at every bite.”
The collaboration highlights how limited-edition festive menus can serve as a strategic tool for F&B brands to drive seasonal engagement and footfall. By pairing Mokai’s experimental approach to desserts with Indu’s rooted-yet-bold ice cream philosophy, the partnership is positioned to capture both loyal customers and curious new audiences.
