Maverick & Farmer has opened a new open-air café at Sobha Mall on St. Mark’s Road, Bengaluru. The 1,500 sq. ft. café is designed to engage the city’s growing coffee community and offers an open, relaxed setting in the heart of the city.
The café features an open-air layout that allows guests to enjoy their coffee in a natural and breathable environment while staying connected to the surrounding neighborhood. Staying true to the brand’s farm-to-cup philosophy, Maverick & Farmer continues to source single-estate coffee directly from Indian farms and roast the beans in small batches.
The design of the café is inspired by the brand’s coffee estate in Coorg. Elements of farm life are reflected throughout the space, including a restored 1970s tractor that forms part of the barista station, clay tiles inspired by coffee drying yards, estate-style windows, and live Arabica and Robusta plants.
The menu includes Maverick & Farmer’s espresso-based drinks, manual brews, and cold coffees, along with a curated selection of food designed to pair with the coffee. Visual elements across the café highlight the brand’s focus on coffee craftsmanship and Indian-origin beans.
Speaking on the launch, Sreeram Gangadharan, Co-founder & Partner, Maverick & Farmer, said, “Bengaluru has always been at the heart of India’s evolving coffee culture, and opening our sixth outlet at Sobha Mall feels like a natural progression for Maverick & Farmer. The open air format and farm to city design narrative reflect the journey of coffee from the land to the cup, creating a space that is both immersive and approachable. Sobha Mall’s strong footfall, visibility, and accessibility made it a strategic choice as we continue to strengthen our presence in Bengaluru and expand thoughtfully across India.”
With this opening, Maverick & Farmer continues to strengthen its footprint across India, creating thoughtfully designed spaces that invite consumers to slow down, engage, and rediscover Indian coffee in a modern, immersive setting.
