Lavender Bakery & Desserts has expanded its presence in Mumbai with the launch of its third outlet, opening in Vile Parle East on December 24. The new store marks the brand’s continued growth following the performance of its earlier locations in Kandivali East and Versova. With this launch, the homegrown café chain strengthens its footprint in the city’s suburban retail and foodservice market.

Positioned as Mumbai’s first lavender-themed café, the brand has built recognition through a consistent visual identity and a dessert-led menu strategy. The Vile Parle outlet follows the same design and product framework as its existing stores, focusing on a calm interior layout and a compact but focused offering of desserts, baked goods, and coffee-based beverages.

Located at Shop No. 2, Rajmohan CHSL on Chittaranjan Road, the new outlet has been planned to cater to neighbourhood consumers as well as regular café visitors. The location choice aligns with the brand’s strategy of entering residential and mixed-use zones with steady footfall rather than high-rent high-street clusters.

Founder Raunak Suvarna, speaking at the launch, credited the response received at the earlier outlets for enabling the expansion. “Looking back, the journey has been incredibly special,” said founder Raunak Suvarna. “The love and support we received from the Kandivali and Versova communities gave us the push to bring the Lavender experience to this new, vibrant neighborhood. What began as a simple idea—to create a dessert-first sanctuary—has today grown into something much bigger, finding its place in Mumbai’s highly competitive café culture.”
