Iconic Delhi restaurant brand Kwality has expanded its footprint with the launch of a new outlet at DLF CyberHub, Gurugram, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s journey that began in 1940. The new restaurant features 120 covers, including 80 indoor and 40 outdoor seats, catering to both casual diners and larger groups.
A longstanding name in Delhi’s culinary landscape, Kwality has built a reputation over decades for its classic North Indian cuisine, old-world charm, and enduring hospitality. The restaurant has hosted several prominent personalities over the years, including former Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, members of the Gandhi family, as well as international dignitaries and cultural figures such as German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and sitar maestro Ravi Shankar.
Speaking on the launch, Divij Lamba and Dhruv Lamba said, “With our new home at CyberHub, we wanted to bring the same spirit of Kwality into a contemporary setting while staying deeply rooted in the legacy, flavours, and hospitality that have defined the brand since 1940.”
The menu continues to feature Kwality’s celebrated chole bhature, alongside its signature tandoori dishes, kebabs, and slow-cooked curries. The CyberHub outlet also introduces an expanded offering that includes refined chaats, bar bites, seekh kebabs, continental favourites, a dedicated high tea experience, and a curated beverage programme.
Designed to reflect the brand’s heritage, the restaurant showcases more than 100 vintage photographs and artworks depicting old Delhi, including rare images captured by noted photographer Madan Mahatta. The space also features Kwality’s signature piano, complemented by live performances and contemporary design elements that blend nostalgia with modern aesthetics.
With the Gurugram opening, Kwality aims to bring its legacy to a new generation of diners while continuing to serve loyal patrons who have associated the brand with Delhi’s dining culture for over eight decades. The expansion underscores the restaurant’s strategy of evolving with changing consumer preferences while preserving the authenticity and traditions that have defined its identity.
