Restaurant India News: KHIL Expands Gujarat Presence with IRA by Orchid Hotels Launch in Bhavnagar

Kamat Hotels India Limited (KHIL) has expanded its footprint in Gujarat with the launch of IRA by Orchid Hotels in Bhavnagar, reinforcing its strategy of growing in emerging business and leisure destinations across India.

Located at Himalaya Mall, opposite Victoria Park Road in ISCON Mega City, the hotel features 50 rooms, banqueting facilities, and an all-day dining restaurant. The property is designed to cater to both corporate and leisure travellers as Bhavnagar continues to witness increasing economic activity and infrastructure development.

The hotel was inaugurated on June 19, 2026, in the presence of Hon'ble Cabinet Minister Shri Jitubhai Vaghani, along with hospitality industry representatives including Dr. Vithal Indira Venkatesh Kamat, Executive Director of KHIL, Vishal Kamat, and property owners Rohit Modi and Kamlesh Modi.

The launch comes at a time when Bhavnagar is gaining attention as a business destination due to ongoing industrial and infrastructure developments in the region, including projects linked to manufacturing, engineering, and semiconductor sectors in and around Dholera.
