Restaurant India News: KFC Australia Introduces Innovative Vending Machine Experience for New Sweet Tokyo Range

KFC Australia is set to introduce its first vending machine in the country later this month, as part of a promotional campaign for its new Sweet Tokyo Hot & Crispy range. The vending machine will launch on October 18 at a secret location, with customers encouraged to track the company’s social media channels for clues about its whereabouts.

The machine will provide free samples of the limited-edition Sweet Tokyo Hot & Crispy chicken, which is a teriyaki-glazed variant of KFC’s existing Hot & Crispy range.

Sally Spriggs, Group Marketing Director, KFC Australia, said, “At KFC, we love surprising our fans with new flavour experiences, and Sweet Tokyo Hot and Crispy is one of our most exciting yet.”

She further added, “Australians already love Japanese-inspired flavours, so we wanted to bring a little taste of Tokyo to KFC with our iconic Hot and Crispy twist.”

The initiative aligns with KFC’s broader strategy to engage customers through innovative distribution channels and create excitement around limited-edition products. By using a vending machine as a promotional tool, KFC is tapping into experiential marketing trends in the quick-service restaurant sector while also testing new ways to connect with consumers beyond traditional restaurant outlets.
