Following the success of its flagship outlet in JP Nagar, Kalpaney, the modern vegetarian restaurant, has expanded to Indiranagar, Bengaluru, marking the brand’s second outlet in the city.
The new space reflects Kalpaney’s evolving vision of presenting familiar vegetarian flavours through a contemporary global lens, while offering a more immersive dining experience tailored to Indiranagar’s vibrant food culture. Designed to feel open, warm, and experiential, the outlet features soaring ceilings, a striking double-height entrance, handcrafted ceramics from Khurja artisans, and subtle influences of Kalamkari and other Indian art forms.
The menu continues Kalpaney’s signature blend of comfort and creativity. Popular dishes such as Garlic Truffle Khichdi, Avocado Carpaccio with Izu Soya, and the Kalpaney Sushi Boat remain highlights, alongside new additions including Mathri Makhana Chaat, Raw Mango Avocado Roll, Jackfruit Dimsum, and Podi Mac & Cheese Arancini. The menu also features dishes like Mushroom Galouti with Zafrani Parotta and Bhatti ka Paneer, balancing Indian influences with global formats such as vegetarian sushi, small plates, and inventive chaats.
Getting nostalgic about the new opening, Avinash Kapoli, Founder of Kalpaney, shared, “Indiranagar is where Kompany Hospitality first put down roots, it is the neighbourhood that shaped how we think about hospitality, about spaces, and about the kind of experiences worth building. Bringing Kalpaney here felt like a natural completion of that circle; a chance to give back to the community that gave us our foundation and to build something that truly belongs to this place.”
“Every dish at Kalpaney begins somewhere personal, a memory from childhood, flavour that stayed long after a meal was forgotten. At Indiranagar, that philosophy remains at the heart of everything we have put on the plate. What has evolved is the conversation those memories are now having with the world, with techniques and influences gathered across borders and kitchens,” added Chef Sombir Chaudary, Head Chef, Kalpaney.
As a no-alcohol concept, Kalpaney’s beverage programme focuses on layered flavours and regional ingredients. Signature drinks such as Imli ka Khajur, School Days, and Khatta Sharbat continue to feature on the menu, while kombucha in three flavours has now been introduced across both outlets.
With plans for measured expansion across cities, Kalpaney sees its Indiranagar outlet as the next step in building an experience-led vegetarian dining brand while staying true to its core philosophy.
