Hearth has opened inside the iconic Eros Cinema building in Churchgate, Mumbai. Led by Chefs Dhriti and Sabby, the restaurant focuses on honest cooking, warm hospitality, and dishes inspired by open-fire techniques.
Positioned as an elevated yet approachable dining space, Hearth aims to offer fine-quality food without the formality of traditional fine dining. The restaurant highlights intuitive service, thoughtful flavours, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Hearth’s menu is shaped by the founders’ progressive approach to fire-based cooking. Signature dishes include Pork Toast, Hearth Stir Fry, Pork Belly & Rice, and Fire Grilled Fish. The cocktail list features creations such as Raspberry Wasp, B’bay Pallonji and Ba-br-bu. The team emphasizes handmade elements, from charcuterie to garnishes, underscoring their belief in slow, careful craftsmanship.
Designed by FK’D Workshop and architect Faizan Khatri, the interiors blend heritage and contemporary design. Features include a burnt-wood installation, a softly illuminated suspended bar, and a six-seater Chef’s Table positioned beside the open kitchen. The founders note that Hearth is built as a space that feels like home for both guests and the team. “Every corner here holds a detail we’ve loved and a story we’ve lived,” the chefs shared in a statement.
The restaurant incorporates several handcrafted design elements, including ceramics by artisan Pawan Baviskar, custom wooden crockery by House of Chirmi, hand-embroidered napkins made by the chefs’ mothers and grandmother, and Marine Drive–inspired centrepieces by Notice Studio. A custom elevation grill by Novo Industries forms the focal point of the kitchen.
Hearth aims to create a dining experience centred on connection and care. Its emblem, depicting a woman offering a gesture of welcome, reflects the brand’s focus on warmth and genuine hospitality.
