Fabcafe, the food and beverage division of Fabindia, has introduced a made-from-scratch operating model across its cafés, reinforcing its focus on wellness-oriented dining and ingredient-led menu development.
Under the new approach, all dishes will be prepared fresh on a daily basis, with an emphasis on ingredient quality, nutritional value, and regional flavours. The move forms part of the brand’s broader strategy to cater to growing consumer demand for healthier dining options and transparent food preparation practices.
The updated menu incorporates alternative ingredients and traditional Indian grains into familiar dishes. Offerings include momos prepared using jackfruit flour in place of refined wheat and kheer made with millets and jaggery. The brand aims to provide consumers with comfort food options that align with changing dietary preferences and wellness-focused lifestyles.
A Fabcafe Spokesperson said, "With this endeavour, we wanted to create a space where eating well feels natural and joyful. We are focusing on what truly matters: fresh ingredients, regional flavors, and the heart of a live kitchen. By using wholesome alternatives and seasonal menus that celebrate the diversity of Indian produce, we’re making your favourite comfort foods better for you. It’s all about honest cooking served in a peaceful setting that makes every visit feel like home."
The initiative also highlights Fabcafe’s continued focus on seasonal sourcing and farm-to-plate dining. The cafés operate across key locations including Vasant Kunj, Lajpat Nagar, Golf Course Road, Starling Edge Noida, and Hazratganj. Fabcafe’s latest move reflects this broader industry shift toward wellness-driven dining experiences while maintaining a strong focus on ingredient transparency and fresh food preparation.
