Encalm Hospitality has announced the launch of Encalm Privé, its latest business-class lounge at Terminal 1 of Indira Gandhi International Airport. Located within the domestic departures area, the new facility is positioned as a premium lounge offering for domestic travellers and is notable for being India’s first women-led business-class lounge.

Designed as a compact, service-focused space, Encalm Privé targets travellers seeking a quieter, more personalised airport experience. The lounge is operated entirely by a women-led team, a move that reflects Encalm Hospitality’s focus on frontline leadership and differentiated service delivery within the airport hospitality segment.

The lounge responds to growing expectations among domestic flyers who increasingly seek comfort and consistency comparable to international travel standards. The space has been planned to support multiple use cases, including working, dining, and resting, through comfortable seating layouts, controlled lighting, and understated interiors intended to reduce the stress associated with airport transit.

Food and beverage offerings form a key part of the Encalm Privé proposition. The lounge features a multi-cuisine buffet complemented by live food counters, allowing for freshly prepared dishes. The menu includes Indian selections alongside international staples, catering to varied traveller preferences. A bar service is also available, with complimentary access to select alcoholic beverages, including sparkling wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.
