
The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa has announced the appointment of Vasant Ravindran as its new General Manager. The leadership change is expected to support the resort’s focus on operational stability, experience-led hospitality, and long-term growth.
Vasant brings over 16 years of experience in the hospitality sector. An alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa, New Delhi, he began his career with the Taj Group as a Hotel Management Trainee. Over the years, he has held senior operational roles across several prominent hotel brands, progressing through responsibilities that span rooms, operations, and overall hotel management. His professional background includes key assignments as Director of Rooms at JW Marriott Aerocity, New Delhi and Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur.
Prior to joining The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa, Vasant served as Hotel Manager at The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi. During his tenure, he focused on improving operational efficiency, strengthening guest service standards, and enabling cross-functional coordination. His role also involved leadership development and reinforcing the hotel’s positioning in both accommodation and food and beverage experiences.
In his new position, Vasant will oversee the strategic and operational direction of The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa. His responsibilities include strengthening the resort’s positioning as a wellness-focused destination and ensuring consistency across guest experiences, service delivery, and team performance. The appointment aligns with the property’s broader intent to maintain relevance in the experiential and leisure hospitality segment, which includes wellness retreats, destination events, and extended-stay leisure travel.
