Restaurant India News: Burger Singh Expands Mumbai Footprint with Launch of New Andheri Outlet

Burger Singh, a homegrown burger chain, has opened a new outlet in Andheri, Mumbai, strengthening its presence in the city. The launch is part of the brand’s expansion plans across key urban markets, particularly in western India. The new outlet is aimed at serving young professionals, families, and students in the area. It will offer Burger Singh’s signature desi burgers, which combine Indian flavours with the quick service restaurant (QSR) format.

Mumbai continues to be an important market for Burger Singh due to its fast-paced lifestyle and diverse food preferences. The brand says it is adapting its menu to match changing consumer tastes while keeping its focus on bold, flavour-driven offerings.

“We aren’t just bringing another burger to Mumbai; we are bringing a flavor revolution that is unapologetically and truly Indian. While the world was busy replicating the West, we doubled down on the Masala, the soul, and the spice that India loves. At Burger Singh, our products aren't just items on a menu; they are personified characters with unique names and distinct personalities that resonate with our customers”, said PV Bhargav, Chief of Staff.

He added, “Western India is our next big bet. We believe the potential in Maharashtra is so massive that the state alone can eventually support more outlets than our entire current national footprint. This expansion is more than just opening stores; it’s a massive opportunity for budding entrepreneurs in Mumbai to partner with a disruptive, home-grown brand and finally be their own boss in one of the world’s most vibrant food markets.”

With the Andheri launch, Burger Singh now operates 12 outlets across Maharashtra. The state plays a key role in the brand’s growth strategy in western India. Burger Singh sees potential to open up to 200 more outlets in Maharashtra over time. Within Greater Mumbai, the brand currently has two outlets and plans to expand further across major neighborhoods and high-footfall commercial areas.

As part of its expansion in Maharashtra, Burger Singh also plans to generate employment opportunities, with a target to hire over 1200 employees across its existing and upcoming outlets in the city. The brand’s expansion is driven by a franchise-led model and a consistent focus on operational discipline and scalability.
