Sarovar Hotels has elevated Mielle Batliwala to the position of Vice President – Human Resources, reflecting the company’s continued focus on strengthening leadership capacity and building organisational systems aligned with long-term growth.
Batliwala joined Sarovar Hotels two years ago and has since worked on stabilising the Human Resources function, improving internal processes, and supporting service delivery standards across the organisation. Her role has focused on developing structured HR frameworks that respond to the needs of a growing hospitality network.
During her tenure, Batliwala has led several automation and digitisation initiatives across Human Resources and Learning and Development. These efforts have supported better compliance, increased process visibility, and improved operational efficiency, while also creating a scalable base for future talent development and capability building.
Ajay Bakaya, Chairman, Sarovar Hotels, said, “Mielle’s elevation is a recognition of her strong leadership, strategic mindset, and ability to build resilient systems that support our people and our growth ambitions. At Sarovar, we strongly believe in nurturing women leaders and creating equal opportunities for talent to thrive. Her journey reflects our commitment to inclusive leadership and developing capable leaders from within the organisation.”
The promotion aligns with Sarovar Hotels’ broader approach of investing in internal leadership and strengthening core functions to support operational consistency and expansion across its hotel portfolio.
