Michelin Bib Gourmand-recognised Thai restaurant Baan Phadthai has opened its first Hyderabad outlet at Salarpuria Sattva Knowledge City, Hitech City. Following the success of its Bengaluru restaurants, the Bangkok-born brand makes its debut in the city as Hyderabad's first Michelin-recognised Thai dining destination.
Founded by Frédéric Meyer in Bangkok in 2016, Baan Phadthai has earned Michelin Guide Bangkok's Bib Gourmand recognition every year since 2018 for serving authentic Thai cuisine at accessible prices. The 64-seater restaurant draws inspiration from Bangkok's traditional shophouses, blending timber accents, vintage décor, vibrant artwork and the brand's signature blue-and-orange palette to create an immersive Thai dining experience.
The menu is led by its signature Phad Thai, prepared with premium rice noodles and the restaurant's exclusive 18-ingredient sauce. Other highlights include Gai Tawt, Satay, Poh Pia Tawt, Tom Yum Kaichiau and the Esaan-style Laab. Kept intentionally concise with 25 dishes, the menu also offers several vegetarian options and vegan fish sauce alternatives.
Hyderabad guests can also enjoy eight dishes exclusive to this outlet, including Yum Makuer, Gai Yang Vichianburi, new Rice Sets featuring Gaeng Karee and Gaeng Phet, and Kram Plam Pad Nam Pla. The beverage programme pairs Thai-inspired mocktails such as Jeed Jaad, Milo Dino, Som Tum, Cha Cha and Prik Gleua with classics like Cha Yen and Cha Manao.
With its Hyderabad debut, Baan Phadthai brings an authentic taste of Bangkok, combining traditional flavours, thoughtful design and Michelin-recognised culinary excellence.
