Aspect Hospitality has strengthened its nightlife portfolio with the launch of Radio Bar Malad, marking the second Mumbai outpost of the popular format after its flagship in Mumbai’s Khar opened over a decade ago. It will be open to public on 24th February.
With an established presence across Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, Radio Bar continues to scale as a high-energy, music-driven themed bar built around nostalgia, live performance and community engagement. Strategically located in Malad’s corporate and residential hub, the new outlet is positioned as an all-day social destination transitioning from business lunches and afternoon meetings to high-energy evenings. The design retains the brand’s recognisable aesthetic, highlighted by cascading golden ceiling lights, patterned flooring and large glass facades that shift the mood from daylight vibrancy to immersive nightlife.
An alfresco section further allows the venue to operate across multiple atmospheres within a single address. The food menu, curated by Corporate Chef Vincy Rebello, blends comfort-led bar bites with global influences. Highlights include Avocado Truffle Bruschetta on cheddar jalapeño baguette, Three Cheese Aloo Kulcha Bombs, Dan Dan Chicken, Picante Prawns with naga chilli pineapple glaze, and the Pizza Ma-Ka-Bo crafted for social, shareable dining.
The beverage programme, led by Corporate Beverage Manager Bensen Verghese, draws on familiar Indian flavours reimagined in contemporary cocktails. Standouts include Gold Digger with blue pea–infused gin and edible gold dust, Masala-E-Ishq with white rum and house spice syrup, and Angoor Se Aesthetic, a whisky-based cocktail topped with a red wine float.
Nikhil Merani, Deputy Vice President – Operations, Aspect Hospitality, says, “Radio Bar has always been a high-energy format that demands operational precision behind the scenes. With Malad, our focus has been on creating a space that can fluidly transition across dayparts while maintaining consistency in service, food quality and programming. The location gives us the advantage of strong weekday corporate demand along with robust residential catchment, allowing us to optimise both volume and experience. For us, scalability is about replicating the energy without diluting the brand and Malad has been built exactly with that intent.”
“Radio Bar is more than a themed bar format — it’s a community-driven brand and, at its heart, an emotion. Over the years, it has become a space where friendships form, homegrown artists find their stage, and nostalgia meets new energy. The Malad launch isn’t just about expansion; it’s about strengthening that emotional connecting in a new neighbourhood. When you build the right vibe and put music at the centre, the community builds itself and that remains the heart of Radio Bar,” adds Hitesh Keswani, Managing Director & CEO, Aspect Hospitality.
Aksha Kamboj, Executive Chairperson, Aspect Global Ventures, shares, “From a strategic standpoint, Radio Bar represents a scalable themed format with strong recall and repeat value. Mumbai continues to be a priority growth city, and Malad offers a compelling mix of corporate and residential demand. As we strengthen our footprint across Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, our focus remains on building culturally relevant brands that are both operationally resilient and expansion-ready. Radio Bar’s longevity lies in its ability to evolve while retaining its core identity and that is key to sustainable growth.”
As the brand grows across cities, Radio Bar continues to remain what it has always aimed to be a familiar frequency people can keep tuning back into.
