Aspect Hospitality, one of India’s fastest-growing F&B groups, launches Akina Worli, its latest fine-dining destination in Mumbai.
The launch of Akina’s new Worli outpost was inaugurated by Aksha Kamboj, Executive Chairperson of Aspect Hospitality Group, marking an important milestone in the company’s expansion across India’s fine dining and casual dining space. This new restaurant introduces a refined take on modern Asian cuisine and mixology, blending design, craft, and culinary creativity. While rooted in pan-Asian flavours, the menu also draws inspiration from Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, and Peru, reimagined through an Indian lens for its Worli edition.
Designed to offer an immersive dining experience, the Worli space accommodates 122 guests, including 100 covers dedicated to a sit-down, food-focused format. Led by Chef Ganesh Pandit, Chef Tenzing Sherpa, and Chef Ashwin Singh, the menu features technique-driven dishes across sushi, robata grills, small plates, and mains. A standout element of the new outlet is its Modern Asian–meets–Indian section, celebrating Mumbai’s cultural diversity and the city’s effortless blend of global influences with local tastes.
Akina’s cocktail programme is inspired by the five elements of nature — earth, water, fire, air, and void — forming the foundation of its beverage philosophy. The drinks aim to strike a balance between calm and intensity, elegance and intention, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Commenting on this, Aksha Kamboj, Executive Chairperson, Aspect Hospitality said, “Akina Worli represents the next phase of our growth strategy, where India’s rising appetite for nuanced, design-led dining meets our commitment to building brands with long-term equity. At Aspect Hospitality, we are not focused on expansion for scale alone. We are shaping an ecosystem where culinary innovation, operational excellence, and cultural relevance move in complete alignment.”
She added, “Akina Worli stands as a clear statement of intent, reflecting how we plan to redefine India’s premium dining landscape with depth, discipline, and vision. As we enter new markets and strengthen our portfolio, our priority remains consistent value creation, sustainable growth, and a business model that endures.”
Hitesh Keswani, Managing Director, Aspect Hospitality, added, “In the last year, Aspect Hospitality has delivered one of its most transformative phases yet achieving record footfalls across its flagship restaurants, expanding its QSR footprint at unprecedented speed, and successfully relaunching key brands such as Opa Kipos in Mumbai which is Dubai’s iconic Greek fine-dining concept with its signature blend of Hellenic gastronomy, dramatic performances, and the iconic plate-smashing ritual synonymous with the brand.”
With multiple new locations in the pipeline, concept-driven ventures, and growing demand for its brands across India, the group’s exceptional performance over the past year has laid a solid foundation for its next chapter for growth.
