Radisson Hotel Group Signs 10 New Hotels Across India

Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has expanded its India development pipeline with the signing of 10 new hotels across seven states during the second week of July, strengthening its presence in religious tourism destinations, business hubs, leisure markets and emerging travel corridors.

The new signings span six brands including Radisson Blu, Radisson, Park Inn by Radisson, Radisson Individuals Premier, Park Inn & Suites by Radisson and Radisson Individuals Retreats. The additions form part of the group's strategy to grow its presence through a mix of resorts, business hotels and conversion opportunities across high-demand markets.

As religious tourism continues to gain momentum, RHG has signed properties in Tirupati, Mathura Vrindavan and Kadapa. The new additions include Radisson Hotel Tirupati (115 rooms), Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Mathura Vrindavan (87 rooms) and Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Kadapa Airport (45 rooms).

The group has also strengthened its position in Bengaluru with three new signings. These include Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Bengaluru (150 rooms), Park Inn by Radisson Electronic City (112 rooms) and Lavish Hotel Bengaluru, A Member of Radisson Individuals Premier (113 rooms). The expansion builds on RHG's existing presence of seven operational properties and a pipeline of five hotels comprising 619 keys in the city.

In the leisure and resort segment, RHG has signed Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Jawai (200 rooms) in Rajasthan and Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Vadodara (155 rooms) in Gujarat, targeting destinations with growing leisure and MICE demand.

The company has also entered India's wildlife tourism segment with Jungle Home Resort Tadoba, a member of Radisson Individuals Retreats (26 rooms) in Maharashtra. The property will become the group's first internationally branded hotel near the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. Additional signings include Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Nainital (45 rooms) in Uttarakhand and Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Kalaburagi (55 rooms) in Karnataka, further expanding the group's footprint in leisure and emerging business markets.

Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director & COO, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, said, "India’s hospitality growth story is no longer confined to its top metros, it’s being written in its temple towns, its business corridors, and its wildlife circuits. These 10 signings reflect a deliberate strategy: layering our upscale brands into high-barrier gateway markets while using asset-light, franchise-led models to scale quickly into underserved tier-2 and tier-3 cities. It’s this dual approach for us, depth in the metros, breadth in the emerging markets that continues to set our India growth apart."

Davashish Srivastava, Vice President – Development, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, added, "Behind these 10 signings is a strong pipeline of partnerships built over the past several months. What makes this portfolio particularly noteworthy is its diversity, ranging from greenfield developments and resort projects to conversion opportunities and hotels in emerging pilgrimage and wildlife destinations. This reflects growing owner confidence in Radisson Hotel Group’s ability to offer the right brand, market-smart deal structures and faster speed to market. As development opportunities become increasingly diverse across India, our focus remains on creating tailored solutions that maximise long-term value for our partners while accelerating high-quality portfolio growth."

The latest signings highlight increasing investor interest in hospitality assets across pilgrimage destinations, wildlife tourism hubs, technology corridors and tier-2 and tier-3 cities, as hotel operators continue to expand beyond major metropolitan markets.
