PP Ventures Opens India’s First Porto-Spanish Crafthouse in Bengaluru

Passionate People Ventures (PP Ventures), the Bengaluru-based hospitality group behind Roxie, Roxie & Barry, and Helen’s Place, has expanded its restaurant portfolio with the launch of Helen & Lorena’s Place, its fourth outlet. Opened on 10 July 2026 on the Sarjapur–Varthur Road, the restaurant is positioned as India’s first Porto-Spanish Crafthouse.

The new concept has been in development for two years and combines culinary influences from Porto in Portugal and San Sebastian in Spain. The restaurant has been introduced as part of PP Ventures’ expansion into the Sarjapur–Varthur corridor, one of Bengaluru’s growing residential and commercial markets.

The menu focuses on Portuguese and Spanish cuisine, featuring dishes such as Red Wine-Braised Chicken, Portuguese Pork Chorizo, Andalusian Garlic Prawns, Octopus à la Plancha, Lamb Merguez Sausage Skewers, and Lumpia Cigar Rolls with Smoked Pepper Dip.

The bakery programme includes offerings such as Caramelised Onion & Goat Cheese Puff, Chicken Ghee Roast Puff, and Cream Cheese & Bacon Puff Burger, while the dessert menu features Cherry Amaretto Tiramisù, Crema Catalana, and Crepe Suzette. The beverage programme includes cocktails such as San Sebastian Stories, Bougainvillea Balcony, and Pineapple Postcards.

Pravesh Pandey said, “Hospitality isn’t about impressing people; it's about showing up with intent. When you get that right, everything else follows. The city has grown up. People want to feel something when they walk into a room. They want a place that has a point of view.”

The restaurant's design incorporates elements inspired by Spanish architecture, including a windmill feature, hand-drawn illustrations and themed interiors. Guests celebrating birthdays are welcomed with songs in Spanish, reflecting the concept's cultural focus. With the opening, PP Ventures has expanded its network of destination-led dining concepts across Bengaluru while strengthening its presence in a new growth corridor.
