NMACC Expands Hospitality Offering with New Café and Cultural Space

The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) will open The Library on 1st November 2026, adding an all-day café and dining offering to its cultural and retail experience. The two-level destination will combine a book collection, food and beverage services, and literary programming, giving visitors another reason to spend time at the venue.

The food and beverage concept has been developed by the NMACC team in collaboration with restaurateur Aditi Dugar. The menu is designed to cover different dining occasions, beginning with viennoiserie and brunch, followed by small plates and craft cocktails. Freshly baked breads, handcrafted chocolates, matcha and signature coffee blends will also form part of the offering.

The café is integrated into the overall Library space, allowing visitors to combine book browsing and purchases with coffee, meals and other refreshments. The format brings food and beverage services into a cultural retail setting rather than operating as a standalone restaurant.

The Library will house over 4,500 books across fiction, children’s literature, art, design, history, culture, food and travel. Visitors will also be able to purchase books and merchandise. Its collection includes the entire Amar Chitra Katha collection, while the venue will host storytelling sessions, author conversations, spoken-word performances and workshops.

Designed by architect and designer Ashiesh Shah, the two-level space draws from traditional university libraries. Its interiors include a circular coffee bar, seating alcoves and a dedicated stage for literary and cultural events.

The launch adds a new food and beverage touchpoint to NMACC’s operations, combining café services with book retail and cultural programming. The all-day format is intended to serve visitors across different occasions, from quick coffee stops to longer meals and event visits.
