McDonald’s Launches 3,150 Sq. Ft. High-Street Restaurant in Raipur

Westlife Foodworld Ltd., which operates McDonald’s restaurants across South and West India, has opened Chhattisgarh’s first high-street McDonald’s restaurant in Shankar Nagar, Raipur. The launch takes the brand’s presence in the state to its 5th restaurant as the company continues to expand its network across the region.

Located at VCM Tower, Main Road, Shankar Nagar, Ground Floor, the new outlet covers 3,150 sq. ft. and has been positioned in a residential and commercial area with direct street access. The format is designed to support dine-in, takeaway and delivery operations.

The restaurant offers McDonald’s burgers, wraps and McCafé beverages, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Its high-street location also gives the brand a format aimed at serving customers outside traditional mall-based locations.

The outlet follows McDonald’s standard operating protocols covering quality, service, cleanliness and value. Food preparation processes include separate protocols for vegetarian and non-vegetarian items, while employees undergo process and hygiene training. Mandatory handwashing procedures are also followed when staff move between different sections of the kitchen.

The Raipur opening is part of Westlife Foodworld’s broader expansion strategy to increase McDonald’s accessibility across newer cities and communities in its operating markets.
