JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar Names Arpan Kakde as New F&B Director

JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar has appointed Arpan Kakde as Director of Food & Beverage, bringing a hospitality professional with over 20 years of experience across luxury hotels, premium dining and food and beverage operations into the leadership role.

Kakde has held positions across Marriott International, The St. Regis Mumbai, Shangri-La Mumbai, The Oberoi Mumbai, Trident Mumbai and Hilton Mumbai. His experience includes managing large-scale F&B operations, business development, revenue growth, strategic planning and teams. He has also been involved in dining concepts and hotel pre-openings.

At JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, Kakde will oversee the hotel’s food and beverage operations, with a focus on developing its culinary and beverage offerings, improving operational performance and identifying opportunities to engage guests. He will also be responsible for team development and exploring new concepts in line with changing dining preferences.

Kakde received the Marriott People First Award 2025. His appointment adds to the hotel’s food and beverage leadership as it looks to strengthen operations and develop its dining and beverage offerings.
