Skope Kitchens Plans 20 Crore Seed Round to Accelerate Expansion

Skope Kitchens, India's premium Kitchen-as-a-Service (KaaS) platform, is preparing to raise 20 crores in a seed funding round to fuel its expansion across the country. The funds will be used to deepen its presence in existing markets, enter new cities, enhance its technology platform, and onboard more food brands.

The company offers an asset-light growth model that enables restaurant brands and entrepreneurs to scale without investing in real estate, kitchen infrastructure, or operations. Through its managed kitchen network, partners can run multiple brands from a single location while Skope handles end-to-end operational management.

As delivery-led dining continues to gain traction, Skope Kitchens provides a faster and more cost-effective alternative to conventional expansion and franchise models. Its recent partnership with Speed Kitchen, which adds access to over 25 commercial kitchen locations, is expected to strengthen its nationwide footprint and accelerate brand expansion.

Currently, Skope Kitchens powers more than 15 food brands, including Kritunga, Kochi Kurry Klub (KKK), Eleven Bakehouse, Al Mashawi Shawarma, and Swanky Spoon Society, across multiple locations. The company is also investing in AI-driven analytics to improve kitchen efficiency, operational visibility, and decision-making.

Speaking about the vision, Arvind Krishnan, Founder & CEO, Skope Kitchens said, “We’re seeing a shift in how restaurant businesses want to grow. Entrepreneurs today are looking for flexible operating models that allow them to expand without large upfront investments. This fundraise will help us accelerate that vision, with 30% invested in technology, 40% towards expanding into new cities, and 30% allocated to working capital. Our focus remains on building the infrastructure and operational ecosystem that enables food brands to scale efficiently.”

Tom Mathew, Co-Founder & COO, Skope Kitchens added, “As we expand into new cities, our focus is on building operational systems that can scale with the business. The capital will help us strengthen our processes, technology, and execution capabilities, enabling us to support more brands without compromising on consistency.”

With further expansion planned in the coming months, Skope Kitchens aims to build a scalable Kitchen-as-a-Service ecosystem that enables restaurant brands to launch and grow across multiple cities with zero upfront capex.
