Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Launches DQ to Bring Regional Indian Dining to Embassy TechVillage

Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Embassy TechVillage has launched DQ – Desi Quotient, a 3,500 sq ft Indian dining outlet at Embassy TechVillage on Bengaluru’s Outer Ring Road. The restaurant focuses on regional Indian cuisine, combining dishes and culinary traditions from different parts of the country with a contemporary dining format.

DQ’s menu is structured around India’s geography rather than a conventional course-based format. Under the concept “The Story of Bharat, on a Plate,” the offering draws from home recipes and food memories shared by members of the restaurant’s culinary and beverage team.

The menu covers food associated with railway platforms, street food stalls, family kitchens and regional cuisines. Dishes include Ajmer Station Kadhi Kachori, Champaran Mutton, Donne Chicken Biryani, Mangalore Chicken Sukka, Chha Gosht with Siddu, Pakhala Bhaat and Chenna Poda. The beverage menu includes Ragi Ambli, Paacha Manga Saru, Gud Nu Shikanji, Narasu’s Coffee and Dhaba Kadak Chai.

The restaurant’s design incorporates Indian craft elements including Lippan art, timber, exposed brick, woven rattan and handcrafted brass pendants. A traditional Kerala boat has also been reworked as an art installation.

Music forms part of the dining format, with desi house and Indian fusion combined with traditional instruments including tabla, dhol, sarangi and bansuri. The music programme changes through the day and into the evening.

DQ is located within the 84-acre Embassy TechVillage, where Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Embassy TechVillage operates with 211 rooms. The hotel is positioned as “The Smarter Stay on ORR” and forms part of a 529-key dual-branded development that includes the 211-key Hilton Garden Inn and the forthcoming 318-key Hilton Hotels & Resorts property.

The launch adds an Indian-focused social dining concept to the hotel’s existing food and beverage portfolio, which includes Merigo, its all-day dining restaurant. DQ brings together regional Indian dishes, craft-led interiors and a contemporary social dining format within the hotel’s hospitality offering.
