Atlantis Dubai Announces Dining, Leisure and Retail Upgrades Across Its Resorts

Atlantis Dubai is undertaking a series of upgrades across Atlantis, The Palm, Aquaventure World and Atlantis The Royal, covering dining, leisure, guest facilities and retail as the destination continues to invest in its existing hospitality infrastructure.

At Atlantis, The Palm, the changes include an expansion of Plato’s Lounge into the main lobby, a refurbishment of one-MICHELIN-starred restaurant Ossiano and upgrades to the Palm Pool. At Aquaventure World, River Rapids is being refurbished and resurfaced, while wider restoration, painting and landscaping work is being carried out across the park.

At Atlantis The Royal, the resort is adding The Garden Bar, a new outdoor lounge, while the Royal Pool is being expanded with additional family facilities. Cloud 22 is also being reconfigured, including changes to its pool deck and sunbed area.

Plato’s Lounge at Atlantis, The Palm will be expanded with a new terrace balcony overlooking the Dubai skyline and a larger seating area in the main lobby, providing more than double the original seating. The redesign will also include an accessible ramped pathway, revised guest circulation and a new cascading water feature. The upgraded venue is scheduled to open in October 2026.

Ossiano, the resort’s one-MICHELIN-starred underwater restaurant, will undergo a comprehensive refurbishment focused on its dining environment while retaining its existing culinary concept.

At Atlantis The Royal, The Garden Bar will add an outdoor food and beverage venue surrounded by landscaped gardens. The resort is also reconfiguring Cloud 22, with the Lotus Bar moving to the opposite side of the venue and its former location being converted into an expanded sunbed deck. The changes will add approximately 40 sunbeds.

The Royal Pool will also receive a new family pool, approximately 60 sunbeds, three in-pool loungers and three air-conditioned cabanas.

Aquaventure World is preparing to open Poseidon’s Village, replacing the space previously known as Barracudas. The new venue will become the park’s largest indoor dining destination, with capacity for almost 400 guests indoors and almost 300 outdoors.

The dining facility will offer vegan dishes, salad bowls and wraps, a loaded hot dog bar, burgers, oven-baked pizza, pies, Asian specials and an updated children’s menu. Four self-service ordering kiosks will be installed, while sunbed ordering will allow food to be delivered directly to guests at their sunbeds. The venue will also include a merchandise outlet.

Further work at Aquaventure World includes refurbishment and resurfacing of River Rapids, along with restoration, painting and landscaping across the park.

Atlantis Dubai is also expanding its retail mix. Atlantis The Royal has added Chloé and Brunello Cucinelli, with Zimmermann set to follow, while LEGO has joined the retail offering at Atlantis, The Palm.

The latest investment spans multiple revenue-generating areas across the destination, including restaurants, bars, leisure facilities, retail and guest amenities, as Atlantis Dubai continues to develop its existing resort assets.
