GTGO, the Korean food platform behind GOPIZZA, Gochujang and Dalkomi, is bringing bibigo bapsang to India through an exclusive strategic partnership with CJ Foods, the company behind the global Korean food brand bibigo. The launch marks the brand’s entry into India and introduces an authentic Korean quick-service restaurant (QSR) concept to the market.
The first outlet has opened at Orion Mall in Rajajinagar, Bengaluru. GTGO plans to open more outlets across the city by the end of the year, expanding its presence in India’s growing Korean food market. Bibigo bapsang aims to make Korean food more accessible for everyday dining. Its key offering is BYOB (Build Your Own Bapsang), which allows customers to customise bowls with rice, protein and vegetables. The menu also includes bibimbap, Korean chicken, fries, corndogs and desserts, with a focus on affordable pricing.
The concept is designed for both first-time diners exploring Korean cuisine and regular customers familiar with its flavours. It combines the convenience of quick-service dining with a menu built around traditional Korean food.
Mahesh Reddy, Co-founder and CEO of GTGO, said, "Bengaluru has always been a special market with a vibrant crowd that is ready to try new things. These stores are more than new locations; they are another step towards making high-quality, approachable Korean food a regular part of everyday life for more people across India."
With bibigo bapsang, GTGO is expanding its multi-brand portfolio in India. Its existing brands include GOPIZZA, Gochujang, which serves Korean street food, and Dalkomi, which focuses on Korean desserts. The expansion comes as interest in Korean food and culture continues to grow in India.
