Fortune Hotels Strengthens Leadership in Pahalgam and Bhimtal With New GM Appointments

Fortune Hotels, part of the ITC Hotels Group, has announced two senior leadership appointments, naming Manjur Alam as General Manager of Fortune Pahalgam and Ravindra Kumar Joshi as General Manager of Fortune Lakeview Bhimtal.

Manjur Alam brings over 18 years of experience across hotel operations, room operations, revenue management, guest experience and team leadership. At Fortune Pahalgam, he will oversee property operations, business performance, service standards and team management.

Before joining Fortune Hotels, Alam served as Director of Rooms at Crowne Plaza Pune, where he managed Rooms Operations along with revenue management responsibilities. His earlier career includes roles with IHG, Radisson and Hyatt.

Ravindra Kumar Joshi joins Fortune Lakeview Bhimtal with over three decades of experience in hotel operations, luxury resort management, P&L management, guest experience and stakeholder engagement. He will be responsible for property operations, commercial performance, guest experience and business growth.

Joshi has previously held positions with Hyatt Regency, Le Méridien, Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza, Meerak Hotel and Country Inn Resorts. His experience includes managing luxury resorts and multi-property operations, including the transformation of Country Inn Bhimtal into a flagship, award-winning destination resort. He has also served as Secretary of the Regional Hotel Association in Uttarakhand.
