Accor Appoints Vipin Khattar as Chief Commercial Officer, South Asia

Accor has appointed Vipin Khattar as Chief Commercial Officer, South Asia, strengthening its commercial leadership in the region. In the new role, Khattar will oversee the Group’s commercial strategy across sales, revenue management, marketing, digital distribution, loyalty, partnerships and transformation.

Khattar brings more than two decades of hospitality experience across India, the Middle East, Africa and the United Kingdom. Before joining Accor, he was General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah.

His previous roles include senior leadership positions with Marriott International, where he served as General Manager of JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity and held a multi-property General Manager role in Dubai.

Khattar has also held commercial and operational leadership positions with Hyatt across the UAE and Egypt, including General Manager and Area Director of Sales & Marketing. His earlier assignments include leadership roles with The St. Regis, Delta Hotels, Marriott Residences, Atlantis The Palm and Grand Hyatt Dubai.

At Accor, his mandate will cover the commercial functions that directly support the Group’s hotel business across South Asia. This includes driving sales and revenue performance, strengthening marketing and distribution, developing partnerships and supporting digital and transformation initiatives.
