Kazem Samandari has a Ph.D. in Industrial Economy, an MS in Electrical Engineering and a
Business Degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland.
Kazem Samandari has over 45 years of professional and entrepreneurial experience - including
6 startups - and has worked in over 60 countries on all Continents. He has held executive
positions in several high-tech companies including GMC Digital Printing Systems, Scitex
Digital Printing, Inc., Kodak Versamark Inc., and Given Imaging Ltd.
In 2014, Kazem founded KCSH & Associates, based in Singapore, which is specialised in
assisting young, high-tech companies find business partners in Asia and develop their
activities in this region.
Kazem is a co-founder of L’Opéra (French Bakery Pvt. Ltd.) and has served as its Executive
Chairman since its inception in 2008. More recently in 2022, Kazem co-founded the
Trajectories of Hope Foundation which is dedicated to society-building endeavors. Throughout
the years, Kazem has been professionally exposed to various cultures and traditions across
the planet. He is married to Christine and has two children, Caroline, and Laurent and two
grandchildren Olivier and Clara. In 2015, Kazem was elevated by the French Government to the
rank of “Knight” in the prestigious “National Order of Merit” (Chevalier de l’Ordre national
du Mérite).
Kazem is a member of the Bahá’í Faith.
