Diwan Gautam Anand is a distinguished hospitality professional with a career spanning over four decades at ITC Hotels, where he has played a pivotal role in hotel operations, quality benchmarking, new property development and the creation of iconic food and beverage brands. An alumnus of Modern School, New Delhi, St. Stephen’s College and Cornell University, he began his journey with ITC in 1980 as a management trainee. Anand served as Vice President and General Manager of ITC Maurya, New Delhi, before taking on leadership responsibilities in operational support and quality at the ITC Hotels divisional office. As Executive Vice President, he oversaw quality standards, project completion and pre-opening operations, contributing to the successful launch of properties including ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru; ITC Grand Chola, Chennai; WelcomHotel Jodhpur; and ITC Grand Bharat, Gurugram. His experience also includes assignments at Sheraton Hotels in Hong Kong, Bangkok and San Francisco, as well as leading ITC Kakatiya, Hyderabad.
