Arjun Sagar Gupta is the Founder of The Piano Man. He stands at the intersection of entrepreneurship, music, and cultural innovation, leading as the founder and creative force behind The Piano Man Group. With a mission to elevate India’s live music scene particularly jazz, he has conceptualized, built, and scaled a series of venues that are widely regarded as some of the most sophisticated and artist-forward performance spaces in the country. His leadership encompasses strategy, venue design, programming, talent curation and hands-on operations, ensuring that each outlet under The Piano Man banner upholds the highest standards of acoustics, aesthetics and artistic integrity. His academic and artistic journey began with an early immersion in music at the Delhi School of Music, where he developed a strong foundation in jazz and classical traditions. This formative education was followed by a Fulbright scholarship that took him to Boston for advanced musical studies, expanding his horizons both technically and artistically. Simultaneously, he earned a degree in electronics engineering and pursued architectural studies in Frankfurt. This rare interdisciplinary combination enables him to design venues with a unique synthesis of technology, design, and acoustics, spaces that are as functional as they are immersive.
