The Gated Community Opens 3,500+ Sq. Ft. Restaurant in Juhu

The Gated Community, a new restaurant in Juhu developed by hospitality entrepreneurs Prashant Chaudhri, Puneet Gidwani and Nirmal Patel, who collectively bring 20+ years of industry experience.

Spread across 3,500+ sq. ft., the restaurant has been designed as an all-day social dining destination featuring multiple spaces, including a marble bar, a dining room centred around a grand piano, and a private dining room known as The Oak Room. The founders have also announced plans to add a rooftop venue before the end of the year.

Prashant Chaudhri, Co-founder, said, "Great food gets people through the door. Great experiences bring them back. That's what we set out to create with The Gated Community."

The food programme is led by Executive Chef Aashish, whose menu draws inspiration from cuisines experienced by the founders during their international travels. The restaurant focuses on sharing plates, with offerings including Seafood Linguine, Cacio e Pepe with truffle mushroom, Basil and Broccoli Pesto with burrata, Thai Steamed Fish, and a selection of grilled dishes.

The restaurant also offers a dedicated Sunday brunch featuring signature Benedicts, waffles and other brunch favourites aimed at group dining and extended weekend gatherings.

Its beverage programme is organised into three sections—signature cocktails, reinterpretations of classic cocktails and dessert-inspired drinks. The bar uses techniques such as fat-washing, whey clarification, hydrosol distillation and smoke to create its cocktail menu.

The Gated Community began operations on Friday, 24th July, and is open daily from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 1:30 am. The restaurant is located at Vaishali Shopping Centre, next to Options Showroom, Juhu, Mumbai, with an average spend of Rs 3,500 for two, excluding alcohol.
