Tata Starbucks Opens 500 Stores in India; 2nd Reserve Store in Gurugram

Tata Starbucks celebrates a defining moment in its journey with the completion of 500 stores in India, a milestone that reflects over a decade of connection, craft, and community. 

What began in 2012 with the first store at Fort, Mumbai, has reached 500 stores across 81 cities, each one shaped by India’s unique culture, people, and stories, and the commitment to deliver the signature Starbucks Experience to customers in India. 

“This milestone reflects Tata Starbucks commitment to growing and celebrating India’s rich, evolving coffee culture. Our campaign ‘500 Ways to Belong’ is a tribute to the communities that have made Starbucks their own. Over the past decade, every store, partner, and customer has shaped how India connects over coffee. The opening of our 500th store, the Starbucks Reserve in Gurugram reinforces our promise to continue crafting experiences that bring people together, one cup and one conversation at a time,” shared Sushant Dash, CEO, Tata Starbucks.

The Starbucks Reserve® in Gurugram, will be the 500th store and second reserve store in the country representing the pinnacle of the brand’s coffee expertise and design philosophy, where craftsmanship meets culture and coffee becomes an immersive experience for consumers.

The store’s design draws inspiration from the notes of the coffee sourced from the Tata Nullore Estate and celebrates India’s rich coffee heritage through textures and artwork by local artisans.

Every texture and artwork in the space celebrates India’s coffee-growing heritage, brought to life by local artisans. The store invites guests to explore coffee as it showcases the Starbucks rarest, small-lot coffees sourced from around the world, prepared through elevated brewing techniques such as siphon, pour-over, chemex. and for the first time, the OVISO™ espresso machine, designed to elevate the art of espresso. It includes patented bottom-fill espresso shot and milk steaming technologies displayed on the counter, with an under-the-counter machine. Each cup is handcrafted to highlight flavor, skill, and storytelling, offering guests a closer connection to the coffee journey from bean to brew.

Starbucks Reserve in Gurgaon will be open to customers from 23rd November 2025 from 8AM to 11PM.
