SMOOR Opens its 75th Outlet in Bengaluru’s HSR Layout

As it celebrates 10 years in India, SMOOR has opened a new outlet in Bengaluru’s HSR Layout, expanding its presence in the city. Spread across 2,450 sq. ft. on the ground floor, the outlet has 48 seats, with both indoor and outdoor dining options. The new lounge caters to young professionals, corporate customers and residents looking for a space to enjoy meals, coffee and desserts.

The HSR Layout outlet is SMOOR’s 75th outlet in India. Founded in Bengaluru in 2015, the brand started with a focus on premium couverture chocolate and has since grown into a multi-format gourmet business. Its presence now includes signature lounges, cafés, kiosks, gifting counters, dark kitchens and an online gifting business.

The menu combines European cooking techniques with Asian flavours and modern takes on familiar dishes. Customers can visit for breakfast, lunch, coffee and dessert or dinner, positioning the lounge as a destination for different dining occasions throughout the day.

Some of the dishes on the menu include Hoon Twun Dumplings, Chicken Schnitzel, Panko Fried Prawns with Garlic Mayo, Crispy Lotus Stem in Honey Chilli, Gochujang Cottage Cheeseburger, Smash Chicken Burger, Mushroom and Tofu Dimsum, Ebi Maki Roll, Dandan Noodles, Thai Basil Fried Rice, Chicken Stroganoff and Teriyaki Salmon. Breakfast options include a Raspberry Greek Yogurt Bowl, Banana Pancakes and Kheema Pav.

The launch comes at an important stage in SMOOR’s journey as it enters its second decade. Since its launch, the brand has expanded its offerings across chocolates, patisserie, beverages, savoury food and gifting. Its growth is supported by a dedicated research and development kitchen, signature recipes and seasonal menu innovations.

The HSR Layout lounge follows SMOOR’s focus on creating a contemporary and welcoming dining space while maintaining its emphasis on quality ingredients and craftsmanship. Its indoor and outdoor seating is designed to accommodate both everyday visits and planned dining occasions.

Speaking of the launch, Vimal Sharma, Founder & CEO, SMOOR Chocolates, said, “Our tenth year is a moment to look at how far SMOOR has come, while staying curious about where we can go next. Bengaluru is where our journey began, so opening the HSR Lounge in our anniversary year feels especially significant. With this space and our new menu, we are expanding the SMOOR experience into more occasions, from breakfast and lunch to evening dining and, of course, our signature world of chocolate. The idea is not simply to open another outlet, but to create a neighbourhood destination that reflects how people want to eat, meet and indulge today.”

With its 75th outlet, SMOOR continues to expand beyond its core chocolate business into a wider food and dining experience. As the brand grows across India, it aims to bring together its chocolate expertise, food offerings and gifting business under one brand.
