The Telangana Chefs Association (TCA) has announced a change in leadership as part of its continued efforts to strengthen the professional chef ecosystem across the state. The transition marks a strategic move aimed at ensuring continuity while aligning the Association with the evolving needs of the hospitality industry.
Chef Lamba has stepped down from his role as President following a significant term in office. During his tenure, he played a key role in building stronger engagement among chefs in Telangana and reinforcing the Association’s role as a professional body. The Association has formally acknowledged his leadership and contributions toward consolidating the chef community and supporting its professional growth.
The Executive Committee has appointed Chef Amey Marathe as the new President of the Telangana Chefs Association. With more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Chef Amey is known for his active involvement with chefs across different segments of the industry. His leadership agenda is focused on structured skill development, youth participation, and collaborative initiatives that support career progression within the culinary profession.
Under the new leadership, TCA plans to continue expanding access to training, recognition programs, and industry representation, with an emphasis on participation at national and international platforms. The Association sees this transition as an opportunity to further align its activities with industry requirements and emerging talent.
As TCA enters this next phase, members have been encouraged to support the new leadership and contribute to the Association’s long-term objectives. The organisation reiterated its collective vision with the statement, “Together, we build the future of the chef community.”
