Restaurant India News: Vintage Coffee Reports Strong Q3 Growth, Expands Capacity to 11,000 MTPA

Vintage Coffee and Beverages Ltd reported strong financial performance for the third quarter of FY26, with revenue increasing 71 percent year-on-year to Rs 150.52 crore, according to a regulatory filing released on Thursday. The growth was supported by higher volumes and better capacity utilisation across operations.

Operating profit for the quarter rose 83 percent year-on-year to Rs 27.64 crore, while profit after tax increased 53 percent to Rs 19.11 crore compared to the same quarter last year, indicating improved operational efficiency and margin expansion.

For the nine months ended December 31, 2025, the company posted revenue of Rs 387.74 crore, reflecting a 91 percent year-on-year increase. Operating profit more than doubled to Rs 66.25 crore during the period, while profit after tax grew 109 percent to Rs 51.18 crore.

Balakrishna Tati, Chairman and Managing Director, said the results were driven by consistent demand, improved profitability, and execution across business segments. He added that the company remains confident about maintaining growth momentum in the fourth quarter of FY26.

As part of its medium-term expansion strategy, Vintage Coffee plans to commission an additional 4,500 MTPA of spray-dried and agglomerated coffee capacity by the end of FY26. This will take the company’s total installed capacity to 11,000 MTPA. In parallel, the company has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Telangana government to invest Rs 1,100 crore in a greenfield project to be developed in phases.

The first phase of the greenfield freeze-dried coffee facility, with a planned capacity of 5,500 MTPA, is currently under execution. Plant and machinery orders have been placed with European suppliers. The upcoming facility is expected to support premium product launches and drive volume growth through FY28, aligning with demand from the hospitality, foodservice, and retail beverage segments.
