Swiggy Ltd, India’s leading on-demand convenience platform, has unveiled DeskEats 2.0—an upgraded version of its earlier DeskEats program launched this year. The initiative is tailored for modern working professionals, offering over 200,000 desk-friendly food items designed for easy, non-messy consumption.

DeskEats 2.0 aims to address workplace dining challenges through smart packaging, convenient cutlery, and curated food options. The platform now caters to 5,000 corporate co-living spaces and 7,000 tech parks across 30 cities in India. Users can explore these options by typing ‘DESK’ in the Swiggy app search bar, which brings up a wide range of desk-compatible dishes.

In line with this launch, Starbucks has introduced a limited-period “Power Lunch” menu priced at Rs 199, available until November 8, 2025. Customers can select from 29 dishes, including Paneer Tikka Sandwich, Chilli Cheese Toast, Tofu & Spinach Croissant Sandwich, Tall Cold Coffee, Tall Java Chip Frappuccino, and Tall Vietnamese Cold Brew. This offer is currently available across 252 Starbucks outlets in 25 cities nationwide.

Developed in collaboration with restaurant partners, DeskEats 2.0 reflects Swiggy’s use of consumer insights to create a practical and seamless dining experience for office-goers. The offering features curated collections such as Value Combos, Stress Munchies, Quick Desserts, Chai-Coffee Breaks, One-handed Grabbies, Healthy Nibbles, and Teamwork Bites, each catering to specific work-related dining occasions.
