
Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel has announced the appointment of Shivankur Verma as its new Food and Beverage Manager, marking a strategic leadership addition to its operations team. The appointment reflects the hotel’s continued focus on strengthening food and beverage performance through experienced operational leadership.
Shivankur brings extensive experience across food and beverage operations, including restaurant and banquet management, revenue optimisation, cost control, service delivery, compliance, and team management. His background spans multiple premium and luxury hospitality brands, where he has handled large-format operations and high-volume guest environments.
Before joining Renaissance Bengaluru, Shivankur served as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at JW Marriott Goa Vagator, where he managed end-to-end F&B operations. During his tenure, the property achieved 3rd position in APEC for Food and Beverage Service on Guest Voice, recording a 92.3 percent ITR. The hotel exceeded its food and beverage revenue budget by 13 percent, maintained beverage costs within budget, and successfully executed 12 luxury buyout weddings. He was also involved in the operational revamp of Agua Pool Bar and Café and ensured consistent adherence to audit standards and guest satisfaction metrics. As a Marriott Certified Department Trainer, he led structured training initiatives focused on improving team capability and service consistency.
Earlier in his career, Shivankur worked as Banquet Manager at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, overseeing large indoor and outdoor event venues. He was also part of the pre-opening team at JW Marriott Prestige Golfshire Resort and Spa, where he managed multiple food and beverage outlets, including all-day dining, specialty restaurants, and in-room dining. His professional journey also includes roles at JW Marriott Chandigarh, Marriott Suites Pune, Sahara Star Mumbai, The Orchid–Ecotel Mumbai, and InterContinental The Lalit Mumbai, contributing to his operational depth and leadership development.
