Bodega 39 has opened in Goregaon, marking the launch of the neighbourhood’s first upscale cocktail bar. Founded by Divya Kadam, the 2,500 sq. ft. venue has seating for 140 guests and aims to bring a premium cocktail experience closer to Mumbai’s western suburbs.
The interiors blend European elegance with rustic elements, featuring high ceilings, layered textures and greenery. The venue is designed to adapt across the day, offering a relaxed setting in the afternoon and a warmer, mood-driven experience at night.
The food menu, curated by consultant chef Gracian D’Souza, features a modern European and Indian selection designed to complement the drinks. The offering includes small plates and shareable bar bites with a focus on clean flavours and balanced textures. The bar features a 20-foot glass façade and an alfresco seating area, allowing the space to transition from a bright daytime setting to a more intimate evening atmosphere. Bodega 39 will operate daily from 12 pm to 1:30 am, with an average spend of ₹2,500 for two.
The cocktail programme is led by beverage consultant Louness Ducus and focuses on fresh, in-house preparation without the use of pre-made mixers or added sugars. Cocktails are crafted using techniques such as clarification, fat-washing, batching and sous-vide infusions, with all garnishes and flavour elements prepared in-house.
With Bodega 39, the founders aim to establish Goregaon as a destination for quality cocktails and elevated bar experiences, bringing a new standard of hospitality to the neighbourhood.
