Restaurant India News: Sahara Star Launches Belmarose with European-Inspired Cuisine and Cocktail Programme

Sahara Star has expanded its food and beverage portfolio with the launch of Belmarose, a new restaurant and bar in Mumbai that combines premium dining, cocktails, and nightlife experiences within a single venue.

Spread across approximately 5,000 sq. ft. and accommodating around 120 covers, Belmarose has been developed as a concept that transitions from a dining destination into an evening entertainment venue. The outlet has been designed with European and Roman-inspired interiors, featuring maroon velvet seating, leather finishes, ambient lighting, and dedicated dining and social spaces.

The restaurant’s culinary programme is led by Chef Sunil Pandey and focuses on a blend of European and Asian-inspired cuisine. The menu includes dishes such as Smoked Chicken Caesar Croquettes, Enoki Mushroom Roll, Stuffed Zucchini Flower, Rosette Ravioli, and Lobster in XO Sauce.

Speaking about the menu, Chef Sunil Pandey said, “At Belmarose, we wanted every dish to feel indulgent yet memorable. The menu reflects global inspirations while focusing on balanced flavours, refined techniques, and an experience that guests keep coming back for.”

In addition to its food offerings, Belmarose has introduced a cocktail programme curated by in-house mixologists Roshan and Hardik. The beverage menu features signature cocktails including Pandan Bloom, Flora Blanca, Mango Inferno, Palantine Fig, and Ignis Roma, designed to complement both the dining experience and the venue’s evening entertainment format.

The concept has been positioned to cater to consumers seeking a combination of dining, socialising, and nightlife experiences, reflecting a broader trend within the hospitality industry where operators are increasingly integrating multiple revenue streams under one destination.

Commenting on the vision behind the venture, entrepreneur Rajjeet Chandra said, “My favorite part of starting a venture is transforming a simple vision into something people truly connect with. But what inspires me even more is continuing its legacy, evolving every day, creating opportunities, and building something meaningful that future generations can proudly carry forward.”

With the launch of Belmarose, Sahara Star further strengthens its presence in Mumbai’s premium hospitality and food service market, targeting consumers looking for integrated dining and entertainment experiences within the city’s competitive restaurant landscape.
