Ramee Group of Hotels has expanded its North India presence with the launch of Ramee Collection Airport Road in Mohali, marking its entry into the Tricity market of Mohali, Chandigarh, and Panchkula. The property has been developed in partnership with Pure Hotel Pvt. Ltd. and represents the group’s first project in the region following its operations in Amritsar.
Located on the Airport Road corridor, the hotel is positioned to cater to both business and leisure demand, reflecting a broader industry trend of targeting high-growth urban clusters with mixed demand profiles. The property focuses on boutique-format hospitality, combining room inventory with food and beverage-led offerings.
“The Tricity region has long been on our strategic radar. Chandigarh’s planned infrastructure, Mohali’s rapidly maturing commercial landscape, and the region’s growing appetite for quality lifestyle experiences make this a compelling market for Ramee. This opening is not just about adding keys to our inventory — it is about creating a landmark destination that resonates with the aspirational traveller from Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh alike. As North India continues its post-pandemic hospitality renaissance, markets like the Tricity offer some of the most robust growth potential in the country, and Ramee Collection Airport Road, Mohali is our definitive statement of intent in this region” said Saurab Gahoi, Senior Vice President – India, Ramee Group of Hotels.
“We are proud to see this vision come to life. Ramee Collection Airport Road, Mohali represents the kind of thoughtful, guest-first hospitality that the Tricity market has long deserved. As the region witnesses significant infrastructure investment and a surge in both inbound business travel and domestic leisure tourism, we believe this property will set a new benchmark for boutique hospitality in the area. Our partnership with Ramee Group has been built on a shared commitment to quality and experiential value, and this opening is the beginning of a much larger journey together.” opined Jaspal Singh, Director, Pure Hotel Pvt. Ltd.
The hotel’s location provides access to key transit points, including proximity to Chandigarh International Airport within 7–10 minutes, and connectivity to major commercial and institutional hubs in the region. It is also situated near business centres and lifestyle destinations, supporting both corporate and transient demand.
The property includes four room categories designed to align with current traveller expectations, focusing on functionality and standardised service delivery. In line with industry trends, the hotel is positioning food and beverage as a core revenue driver, with an all-day dining restaurant and a rooftop bar and restaurant aimed at both in-house guests and local consumers.
The launch highlights continued investment in Tier-2 and emerging urban clusters, where demand is being supported by infrastructure development, corporate expansion, and domestic tourism growth. The Tricity region, driven by IT presence, educational institutions, and improved connectivity, is increasingly attracting branded hospitality operators looking to expand beyond metro markets.
The Mohali launch forms part of Ramee Group’s broader expansion strategy in India, with 2026 positioned as a key year for scaling operations across high-growth regions and strengthening its portfolio in the boutique and lifestyle hospitality segment.
