
Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences has reinforced its leadership team with the appointment of Rana Mukherjee as Executive Sous Chef and Tapendra Ghosh as Food & Beverage Manager. Both professionals bring decades of hospitality experience and a strong record of operational expertise across leading global and Indian hotel chains.
Rana Mukherjee has built his culinary career across international hospitality brands including Marriott, Westin, Sheraton, and Intercontinental. Beginning his journey at Fariyas Resort, Lonavla, and later expanding his global experience with Pars International in Bahrain, he has since led pre-openings, large-scale banquet operations, and operational turnarounds at properties such as JW Marriott Pune, Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield, Courtyard by Marriott Ranchi, and The Westin Kolkata.

Alongside this key culinary leadership, the hotel has also announced the appointment of Tapendra Ghosh as Food & Beverage Manager. With over 19 years of industry experience, Ghosh has managed operations across brands such as Taj, The Park, and Accor. His 15-year association with Accor includes leadership roles at Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre, Novotel Hyderabad Airport, Grand Mercure GIFT City, and Novotel Imagicaa Khopoli.

His deep-rooted expertise within Accor and his passion for guest-centric service will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience across our outlets.
