Westlife Foodworld Q2 Revenue Rises 16% to ₹747 Crore; Same-Store Sales Growth Hits 10.1%

Westlife Foodworld Limited, which operates McDonald’s restaurants across West and South India through its wholly owned subsidiary Hardcastle Restaurants Pvt. Ltd., reported a strong performance for the second quarter of FY27, with revenue from operations rising 16% year-on-year to ₹747 crore.

Same-store sales growth (SSSG) stood at 10.1%, driven by double-digit growth in guest counts. Operating EBITDA increased 29% year-on-year to ₹98.1 crore, with margins expanding to 13.1%. Cash profit after tax (PAT) stood at ₹52.6 crore, translating into a margin of 7%.

The company attributed its performance to the continued strength of its value offerings, menu innovation and omnichannel convenience strategy. Growth remained broad-based across channels and regions, with on-premise sales contributing 59% of system sales, while McDelivery continued to record healthy momentum.

“The results of the quarter reflect the strength of our strategy, the discipline of our execution and the enduring relevance of the McDonald's brand. Strong guest growth, improving profitability and continued market expansion position us well to capture the significant opportunity ahead, create long-term value and further strengthen our leadership in the industry,” shared Amit Jatia, Chairperson, Westlife Foodworld Limited.

Digital engagement remained a key growth driver, contributing more than 75% of sales during the quarter.

The McDonald’s App ecosystem crossed 58 million cumulative downloads, while monthly active users reached approximately 4.2 million.

The company continued to expand its restaurant network, adding 11 outlets during the quarter to reach 492 restaurants across 80 cities. As it approaches the milestone of 500 restaurants, Westlife Foodworld remains focused on increasing accessibility, enhancing customer experiences and expanding its presence across existing and emerging markets.

The company also marked 30 years of McDonald’s operations in West and South India. Through its “Let’s Family at McD” brand platform, it continued to strengthen consumer engagement through culturally relevant campaigns, family-focused experiences and menu innovations aligned with evolving customer preferences.
