Restaurant India News: Moe’s Casa Mexicana To Open First India Restaurant With Unify Foodworks

Moe’s Casa Mexicana, the global evolution of U.S. fast casual chain Moe’s Southwest Grill, is set to make its India debut through a franchise partnership with Unify Foodworks. The brand will open its international flagship restaurant on December 6, 2025, at Elan Miracle. A second outlet is also planned at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.

Moe’s Casa Mexicana’s menu will focus on classic Mexican dishes such as bowls, burritos, tacos, and nachos, with local twists to suit Indian tastes. The menu also includes vegetarian options and adjustable spice levels, allowing guests to customise their meals to their preferences.

The flagship restaurant covers 139 sq. meters and features a modern, high-energy design aimed at urban Indian diners. It will offer dine-in, takeaway, and delivery services, reflecting the mixed consumption habits of today’s city customers.

For GoTo Foods, Moe’s Casa Mexicana is the first international concept developed from the Moe’s Southwest Grill brand to meet rising global demand for fast-casual Mexican cuisine. In India, Unify Foodworks which also operates the Carvel ice cream brand has committed to expanding the chain with a long-term plan that will add several new outlets in the coming years.

The launch of Moe’s Casa Mexicana brings another international player into India’s organised food service and mall dining space, especially at high-traffic locations like Elan Miracle and Ambience Mall Vasant Kunj. As more global brands introduce formats tailored to Indian tastes, the entry is expected to add to the growing range of Mexican and Tex-Mex options available to consumers.
