
McDonald’s India (West & South) has introduced a limited-edition Bag Charm Meal across its restaurants in the West and South regions, as quick service restaurant brands continue to expand merchandise-led consumer engagement strategies.
The offer, available from 26th May 2026 until stocks last, includes a collectible bag charm accessory featuring miniature McDonald’s brand icons in the company’s signature yellow and red colour palette. The launch is being positioned as part of the company’s broader focus on creating collectible merchandise linked to meal purchases.
The Bag Charm Meals are priced from Rs 199 for customers ordering through the in-store McDonald’s App at participating restaurants across the West and South markets. For home delivery, the meals are available exclusively through the McDelivery App starting at Rs 229.
The initiative reflects a wider trend in the hospitality and quick-service restaurant industry, where brands are increasingly using limited-edition merchandise and collectibles to strengthen customer engagement, particularly among younger consumers.
The bag charm launch follows earlier merchandise-led campaigns by Westlife Foodworld, which introduced products such as Merry Meal socks, sippers, and tote bags tied to seasonal and promotional campaigns. The company said these offerings are designed to extend brand visibility beyond restaurant visits while building stronger consumer affinity through lifestyle-oriented products.
McDonald’s said customers can access additional campaign details through its digital platforms and promotional video content linked to the launch.
