Restaurant India News: Magnolia Bakery Launches their First Store in Gurugram

New York’s iconic Magnolia Bakery has debuted in the National Capital Region with the launch of the first store in Gurugram on 15th November 2025. 

Globally celebrated for its classic American desserts and iconic Banana Pudding, Magnolia Bakery has been charming guests since its first store opened on Bleecker Street in NYC’s West Village in 1996. Known for its warm, welcoming décor and baked-from-scratch treats from beautifully crafted cakes and cupcakes to ice creams and its signature pudding, the brand has become a dessert destination worldwide.

Brought to India by Spago Foods in 2019, the new store in Gurugram marks a major milestone, representing Magnolia Bakery’s entry into North India and the beginning of a wider expansion. The brand now operates 11 outlets across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Gurugram.

For the Indian market, Magnolia Bakery has also introduced a special range of eggless desserts. As with every location, everything at the Gurugram store is handmade in-house and prepared fresh daily.

Speaking about the opening of the new store, Zonu Reddy, Co-Founder of Spago Foods - Magnolia Bakery India said “NCR has been on our radar for a while and we are so happy to finally open doors in this region. We plan to firmly cement the brand’s footprint in the north and the store in Gurugram is the first of many to come.
