Restaurant India News: KYRA Launches in Holiday Inn Cochin as a High-Energy Greek & Persian Dining Destination

KYRA, a premium high-energy dining destination inspired by Greek and Persian culinary traditions, has officially opened at Holiday Inn Cochin, adding a new dimension to Kochi’s growing lifestyle and nightlife scene.

Positioned as more than just a restaurant, KYRA brings together fire-led cuisine, artistic cocktails, immersive design and vibrant social experiences under one roof. The concept draws from ancient Greek and Persian food traditions, reinterpreted through a modern luxury lens, with a strong focus on shared plates and communal dining rituals.

Spread across over 8,000 sq. ft., KYRA is now the largest international speciality restaurant in Kerala and the largest within IHG across Southwest Asia. The expansive venue includes an open-air patio with garden seating, a private dining room, and multiple zones designed to shift seamlessly from relaxed daytime dining to high-energy evenings.

The kitchen is helmed by Chef Subimon, Chef de Cuisine, who specialises in Persian and Middle Eastern cuisine and brings over a decade of experience. The menu focuses on fire-led cooking techniques, highlighting flavours such as olive smoke, saffron, layered spices and fresh herbs, crafted for immersive and elevated dining experiences. The interiors at KYRA feature a modern eclectic design with rich textures, sculptural elements and dynamic lighting. A standout projection-mapped wall transforms the ambience in real time, turning the dining space into an interactive visual experience.
